INSPIRE has gained a new partner. CONDOR Multicopter & Drones GmbH has taken over the drones sub-project since November 2020. It is thus responsible for the conceptual and technical integration of autonomous drones into the overall INSPIRE solution. The goal is to develop a drone that is autonomously controlled even beyond visual range and at low flight altitudes for the exploration of operational sites.
Based in Essen, CONDOR Multicopter & Drones GmbH was founded at the end of 2019 with a focus on security for authorities and organizations with security tasks. The drones are characterized by their robustness, lightweight design, long flight times and 3D mapping.
